Why Wrestle?
Wrestling is a unique sport that anybody can compete in, regardless of height, weight, or skill level. It is one of the best sports to enhance overall fitness levels as it emphasizes the development of strength, flexibility, balance, endurance, and agility. Wrestling helps develop many qualities that help you succeed in life. Some of these qualities include self confidence, independence, and discipline. The following is a short list of former wrestlers who have used the skills they learned in wrestling to become champions in life.

Turlock Wrestling Inc. is a nonprofit rooted in California’s Central Valley, building athletes and leaders since 1980. Our program goes beyond the mat—teaching discipline, respect, and perseverance that last a lifetime. Whether new to the sport or a seasoned competitor, every wrestler here learns the value of hard work, grit, and community.
